I thought your blog for this week was amazing! The writing was really well done throughout. I love the personal inclusions and experiences, especially relating to the education program, this was super insightful and easy to relate to. One minor thing I might note is just that I donât see a reference for your first two photos which may be a helpful addition for anyone reading and also just a good practice to include. I also really liked that you integrated a list of some education related social media posts that have helped you directly. This was a nice touch and something that many like myself can take and look into further to help in our own PLNâs. I liked that you mention the impacts of bite-sized formats on social media, I will also just add that I thought it could be beneficial to add some more supports from the weeks resources when making important points around this or even in the âUDL Principles and Inclusive Digital Learning Spacesâ section just to strengthen these pieces even further. Overall really well done and nice formatting throughout.
I thought your blog post for this week was really well done. I like how you broke everything up. Each section was very digestible as there wasnât an overwhelming amount of information all at once. You are very clear and conscise in your writing. I wonder if you might consider integrating more depth or detail to your points by including references to the weeks resources. This could help add that extra level of support especially in the first section to clarify what exactly a PLN is or how it exactly impacts individuals like yourself and the âChallenges with the Importance of Diversityâ section. It was also a nice and meaningful addition to have the embedded video sharing more input on UDL strategies. I would also just consider making images big enough to read as the âKey Privacy Concerns in the Digital Ageâ images text was a bit tricky to read here. Again, overall nicely done blog and helpful information throughout.
I really enjoyed reading your blog post for this weeks topics and resources. I found it super engaging as the sections were split up really well and each involved pieces of your personal experience around the topics. I thought it was a relatable note you pointed out about the use of social media to expand perspectives and that, âPersonal Learning Networks also give you access to a variety of perspectives by connecting you with people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise.â Backing this idea up with a personalized list of influencers who you have learned from was also a really strong and meaningful inclusion. Overall I think this is an impressive and strong blog piece. If considering to expand upon I might just think about amount of text. For example in the very first section before your list of influencers there is a larger amount of text that may be portrayed better to different readers if it were represented in different ways, maybe visually through a chart for example or split up with supplementary visuals. That being said, your use of bolding important words or phrases later in the piece and embedded links where very effective and made the blogs information and references flow together really well.
