I really enjoyed reading your blog for week #1. I thought your writing was really well done and that you mention a lot of really important points. I also enjoy that you take a more personal approach and include your direct experience with the topics and cognivism in specific. I think this makes the piece even more engaging. Hearing your experiences and ways that you practice cognivism in the realm of phycology is very interesting to me as a reader with a focus being in the education program. You made some very valuable points that I could both relate too and think about in your perspective like the influence of “being surrounded by like minded people and feeling a sense of belonging” and the professor providing a safe learning environment. I also believe that cognivism has so many benefits and that the learning environment can play a huge factor in shaping learning experiences. Before this third year experience I wonder if you still felt that a cognitive approach was best for your learning needs or preferences or did this change over time or due to changing environments even? Again, very well done, I might just suggest as a future addition to think about integrating support from the week’s resources through quotes, paraphrasing to strengthen the detail and depth of the blog and its information.
